The previous post of March 2009, illustrated how the building of a church community hall, the St Chads centre, was an issue for many years within the village. These two magazine covers record the eventual start of build of the St Chads centre in 2014, the parish priest Elaine Scrivens digging the first foundations and then in 2017 its opening. Note the 2015 isn’t my picture which is why its better framed!
